April 11 is the National Poetry Day of Hungary and to mark the occasion there will be poems hanged from a clothesline, as well as written on the floor. The initiative takes place at the local library.
Furthermore, this celebration has the collaboration of local schools, with the students coming to write their favourite poems and even sung them to colleagues and other passers-by.
The National Poetry Day of Hungary is celebrated on the birthday of Átilla József, one of the most renowned poets of the Hungarian language and it is celebrated since 1964.
